📋 Description

• Report to the Director of Accounting • Handle month-end closing, bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, and accounting reconciliations • Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations • Perform month-end close according to established processes and deadlines • Perform monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts, Unbilled Revenue, and Deferred Revenue • Analyze profit margins and COGS • Assist the Director of Accounting with monthly tasks and projects • Apply conceptual understanding of US GAAP and IFRS to accounting tasks • Assist with financial audit preparation and testing • Maintain adequate internal controls over financial processes • Complete ad hoc projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting • Active CPA license is required • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-company environment • Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition rules • Relevant accounting experience in technology-driven industries, including Software, IT, SaaS, or Shared Services • Excellent accounting and analytical skills • Experience using Microsoft Excel is required • Workday experience preferred • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to multitask with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced technology environment • Self-starter able to learn new accounting systems quickly with minimal supervision • Working knowledge of month-end close processes • Practical knowledge of profit margins and COGS analysis • Conceptual understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
