📋 Description

• Develop and deliver comparative analysis studies of automation systems and software solutions • Assess capabilities, costs, security, scalability, and fit with ICE requirements • Create BPMN 2.0 models of current-state and future-state financial processes using an AI process mapping tool • Deliver process models to the Government for review and acceptance • Prioritize business processes based on efficiency, impact, volume, cycle time, error rates, complexity, and risk • Maintain a prioritized process inventory • Facilitate process discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews with ICE financial management personnel • Document workflows, business rules, pain points, and data flows • Contribute to automation and deployment strategies aligned with DHS Directive 4300.1, FIPS 140-3, NIST SP 800-53, and FFMIA • Identify opportunities to improve automation deployment capacity, intake, prioritization, and release processes • Analyze processes and data to identify data integrity issues and internal control gaps • Recommend improvements that strengthen audit readiness • Identify and document Machine Learning use cases in financial RPA workflows • Define business requirements and success measures for ML-enabled automation • Support workforce transition planning, change management, and training recommendations • Define and track performance metrics and KPIs • Prepare reports, briefings, white papers, and decision documents for Government leadership • Maintain traceability between business needs, process models, and recommendations • Maintain the project knowledge repository • Mentor junior analysts on process modeling and analysis standards • Protect sensitive financial data • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field is required; equivalent education, training, and relevant experience will be considered • 10+ years of related experience in business/systems analysis, process improvement, requirements engineering, or technology evaluation • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams • Experience developing comparative analyses, alternatives analyses, or software trade studies and presenting recommendations to leadership • Experience modeling business processes using BPMN 2.0 • Experience prioritizing processes for optimization or automation and defining performance metrics • Working knowledge of Machine Learning and AI concepts and applications • Familiarity with DHS Directive 4300.1, FIPS 140-3, NIST SP 800-53, and FFMIA requirements, or ability to quickly gain working knowledge • Understanding of data integrity, internal controls, and audit-readiness practices • Proficiency with Visio, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, and requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and configuration management • Must be a US Citizen • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE Public Trust suitability determination and required system access • Ability to complete the required DHS/ICE background investigation • Superior analytical, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills
