📋 Description

• Lead test strategy and planning, including test approach, scope, environments, schedule, and entry/exit criteria • Develop and maintain the master test plan • Review business requirements, process definitions, and user stories to identify testable acceptance criteria • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data for financial automations, ML-enabled workflows, and integrations • Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end tests • Record test results and maintain verification evidence • Design, build, and expand Python-based automated test frameworks and API tests • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines as quality gates • Validate data integrity and accuracy of automated financial transactions, including inputs, outputs, exception handling, and reconciliation results • Test ML model integrations for expected outputs, accuracy thresholds, edge cases, and unexpected data • Verify compliance with NIST SP 800-53 controls, FIPS 140-3 encryption, DHS Directive 4300.1, and FFMIA • Lead defect triage meetings and track defects through resolution • Perform root-cause analysis with developers and verify fixes • Maintain requirements-to-test traceability • Report test coverage, pass/fail rates, and defect trends • Lead release-readiness assessments and provide go/no-go recommendations • Support user acceptance testing with Government stakeholders • Perform regression testing after system, application, or process changes • Mentor and guide test analysts and review test artifacts • Promote consistent testing standards and best practices, including approved AI-assisted testing tools • Establish and report test metrics and quality gates • Brief findings to program leadership • Prepare test reports, test summaries, and test documentation for release decisions and audit readiness • Protect sensitive financial data • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field is required; equivalent education, training, and relevant experience will be considered • 10+ years of related experience in software test engineering, verification and validation (V&V), quality assurance, or test automation • At least 3 years leading test efforts or test teams • Experience developing test strategies and master test plans • Experience planning and executing functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing • Experience writing test plans, test cases, and test procedures • Expert-level Python scripting • Expert-level API testing, such as Postman • Experience designing and expanding automated test frameworks such as Selenium • Experience with defect tracking, root-cause analysis, and verifying fixes • Experience using Jira and Confluence • Experience with requirements-based testing and traceability using DOORS, Jama, or Jira • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Git, and configuration management • Experience defining test metrics and quality gates • Experience presenting test results, risks, and release recommendations to leadership • Must be a US Citizen • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE Public Trust suitability determination • Ability to successfully complete the required DHS/ICE background investigation • Ability to obtain and maintain required system access • Ability to work Monday through Friday • Secure, reliable internet connection for a U.S.-based home office • Superior analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, documentation, and communication skills
