• Lead the full-stack Growth Pod and report directly to the VP of Engineering • Own the team's health, growth, roadmap, culture, and processes • Shape an ambitious product roadmap and directly drive execution • Lead a pod of four full-stack engineers, a PM, a designer, and a data scientist • Deliver experiences that help clients find Atticus and understand how it can help them during a crisis • Operate on a rapid experimentation cadence • Test new ideas and make data-driven product decisions • Develop team members' careers and coach their technical work • Stay involved in day-to-day technical work • Review pull requests and weigh in on architecture • Write code and dive into technical details alongside teammates • Ensure the quality of the team's shipped output
• Managed a team of at least three engineers for more than one year • Experience growing engineers, including senior individual contributors and people early in their careers • Ability to have difficult performance conversations when expectations are not met • Experience working in a high-performing product organization with strong product managers and designers • Understanding of engineering ownership of product outcomes • Experience operating with ambiguity and limited resources, at a startup or within a larger company • Serious use of AI coding tools in personal work over the past year • Hands-on coding and code review experience • Technical opinions on how systems are built • Expertise in A/B testing, experiment design, and growth-style rapid iterative product development (nice to have) • Hands-on proficiency with Go, TypeScript, Next.js, Temporal, or GCP (nice to have) • Background in legal, healthcare, financial services, or another industry with complex professional workflows (nice to have)
