📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison for development, bid support, and preliminary (0%–30%) PV, BESS, and Wind design • Coordinate design work between internal Operations and Sales stakeholders and external clients • Design PV, BESS, and Wind projects across the United States • Act as liaison between the solar design team and internal and external stakeholders • Deliver preliminary designs, including client/Owner technical requirements, constraint files, solar/PV/Wind layouts, preliminary cable and DC design, civil grading and drainage, bills of materials, electrical studies, and PVSyst production estimates • Self-schedule preliminary design activities to meet external stakeholder deadlines • Work with the Proposal team and Subject Matter Experts to establish proposal pricing • Provide engineering and technical support to the Business Development & Project Services Team • Develop and maintain company-client relationships • Develop equipment vendor relationships • Attend conferences, training workshops, seminars, and relevant classes • Attend safety training and adhere to safety rules and guidelines • Support continual improvement and perform other assigned responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution; electric power option preferred • 2–6 years of relevant engineering or field experience • FE, PE is a plus, but not required • Experience with energy modeling using PVsyst • Experience with AutoCAD and preferred PVCase • Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Project • Basic understanding of electrical and civil engineering with specific emphasis on PV solar • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers and internal personnel; exercises strong intrapersonal skills • Must be self-motivated, well-organized, and a skilled decision maker comfortable in a fast-paced design environment • Excellent problem-solving skills • Commercial understanding of the engineering or construction industries • Effective written and oral communication skills • Good interpersonal and people skills • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
