📋 Description

• Own used vehicle performance across all assigned stores • Set expectations, objectives, and performance goals for used vehicle volume, gross profit, and PVR • Drive operational consistency, compliance, process execution, and best-practice adoption • Diagnose underperforming stores and build sustainable turnaround plans • Coach and develop General Managers and Sales Managers • Analyze market data, trends, inventory mix, aging, pricing, and transfers • Own market-level acquisition strategy across trade-in, consumer purchase/WBYC, auction, and off-lease channels • Own reconditioning throughput, cycle time, cost per unit, workflow, vendors, and quality standards • Analyze sales funnel metrics and ensure consistent appraisal, desking, closing, and delivery processes • Connect phone, eCommerce, BDC, and WBYC interactions to the in-store experience • Leverage CRM, DMS, reporting dashboards, pricing tools, and digital retailing tools • Champion merchandising standards and implement corrective action plans • Conduct in-store visits and provide leadership with feedback on performance, opportunities, and risks

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred • 7+ years of automotive retail experience • 3+ years of automotive sales management experience • Demonstrated success in used vehicle operations, inventory strategy, and retail execution • Strong analytical skills • Comfort using CRM, DMS, reporting dashboards, and inventory and pricing tools • Proven coaching, organizational, communication, and presentation skills • Used-vehicle-only or high-volume used vehicle retail operations experience preferred • Multi-store or market-level leadership experience preferred • Moderate to significant travel required, approximately 50%
