📋 Description

• Manage analysis, design, programming, debugging, modification, and delivery of data products for commercial and end-user applications • Translate detailed business requirements and functional specifications for internal and external clients • Provide services to meet internal and external client needs • Improve processes affecting customer satisfaction and client relationships • Anticipate and analyze technology trends and assess the impact of emerging technologies on the business • Provide solutions to technology and business issues • Provide corporate functional leadership • Supervise staff hiring, goal setting, appraisal, development, and day-to-day coaching • Own support and requirements gathering for Availity data products while leading a team • Collaborate with the Platform team and Product Architecture to improve processes and code output quality • Eliminate duplicate design and promote solutions that reduce or eliminate technical debt • Ensure development positively affects customer satisfaction and relationships • Assess emerging technologies and product-delivery organizational design and provide solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • 5+ years of relevant technical and business experience in data analytics and/or a health care environment • 2+ years of management experience • 2+ years of SQL experience • Ability to launch and deliver multiple concurrent IT projects on time and within budget • Understanding of data modeling, relational databases, data structures, and design • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients and vendors • Flexibility and willingness to embrace change • Understanding of the software development life cycle • Demonstrated ability to lead large and small groups in requirements planning efforts • In-depth knowledge of one or more information technology processes/services • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels • Excellent judgment and effective problem-resolution skills • Ability to balance multiple and conflicting demands • Must pass a drug test before beginning employment • Must meet U.S. employment eligibility verification requirements; sponsorship in any form is not available • Camera use is required for all virtual meetings • Preferred: Knowledge of the healthcare industry and healthcare data • Preferred: Experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based applications using AWS • Preferred: IBM Cognos and Amazon Quick Suite experience • Preferred: AWS Redshift and/or AWS S3/Athena experience • Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field
