📋 Description

• Independently conceptualize, develop and design content based on strategic direction. • Work with senior art staff and copywriters to develop concepts and layouts for client, in-house, and new business projects. • Prepare detailed layouts and storyboards. • Deliver timely turnaround on assignments. • Work with the in-house art department/studio and outside suppliers to complete comps. • Collaborate with editorial and project management departments to meet deadlines. • Acquire knowledge of assigned products and categories. • Solve problems and effectively communicate solutions. • Handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. • Coordinate with necessary departments, communicating status updates to maximize workflow efficiencies. • Execute initial concepts through final completion. • Manage and lead entry-level designers/art directors; allocate personnel and outsource freelancers as appropriate. • Monitor overall quality of agency creative output and provide direction and leadership. • Present creative in client meetings as requested. • Participate in new business activity as required. • Foster positive relationships between creative and other agency functional areas, including account management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts or equivalent area of study. • Minimum 6-10 year’s creative experience, with at least 4 years of pharmaceutical advertising experience. • At least 4 years of supervisory experience. • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience preferred. • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to superior quality. • Outstanding creative presentation skills. • Must be self-motivated, professional, detail oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. • Comfortable working under pressure within tight deadlines. • Advanced PC or Mac experience with all Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite.
