📋 Description

• Troubleshoot, analyze, develop, and maintain clinical applications, procedures, and systems • Work with the Clinical Informaticist to design, optimize, and support the EHR and related clinical systems • Review EMR upgrades and provide notifications • Explore and develop ways to expand clinical system capabilities • Evaluate system feedback and suggest user-experience improvements • Continually improve information technology services for users • Serve as the primary knowledge source for IT support staff on EMR technology • Assist with state and federal clinical data reporting • Develop training for new software applications and train new and existing users • Troubleshoot individual user issues • Provide agency data reporting on support issues • Perform acceptance testing and document problems associated with EMR updates • Participate in performance improvement activities, committees, projects, meetings, and training sessions • Act as a preceptor when requested • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Technology • 5 years of relevant clinical applications experience • Epic Beaker experience required • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, develop, and maintain clinical applications and related systems • Ability to design, optimize, and support EHR and related clinical systems • Ability to review and provide notifications on EMR upgrades • Knowledge of EMR technology and ability to support IT staff • Ability to assist with state and federal data reporting requirements • Ability to develop software application training • Ability to perform acceptance testing and document issues • Visual and auditory abilities must be intact • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily • Willingness to comply with organizational policies, health and safety requirements, and Code of Conduct
