📋 Description

• Report to the General Counsel • Negotiate agreements with customers • Develop customer-centric solutions that achieve legal compliance while satisfying internal and external customer needs • Support business operations and provide direction and counsel regarding compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Stay abreast of laws, legislative developments, and external trends • Anticipate internal and external business challenges • Recommend process, product, or service improvements • Solve unique and complex problems with broad business impact • Evaluate intangible factors in significant and unique issues • Contribute to functional strategy development • Develop innovative concepts, services, technologies, or products addressing current and future customer requirements • Operate with limited supervision in a complex environment • Anticipate customer needs and influence innovative solutions • Communicate highly complex ideas to multiple organizational levels • Work across the organization to build acceptance for ideas and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree (or equivalent) from an ABA-accredited law school • Licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one state • 15+ years of experience, including 10+ years of prior in-house counsel experience • Current member of the bar or able to be admitted to the in-house counsel bar • Experience negotiating and drafting service agreements, license agreements, subcontracts, marketing agreements, real estate leases, non-disclosure agreements, confidentiality agreements, and consulting agreements • Experience supporting operations outside of the United States • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams • Detail orientation and ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects under deadline pressure • Ability to deliver in a demanding and entrepreneurial environment in a timely manner • Ability to anticipate internal and external business challenges • Ability to recommend process, product, or service improvements • Ability to solve unique and complex problems with broad business impact • Ability to evaluate intangible factors in significant and unique issues • Ability to contribute to functional strategy • Ability to make decisions within applicable functional, business unit, company, or industry guidelines • Ability to develop innovative concepts, services, technologies, or products for current and future customer requirements • Ability to operate with limited supervision in a complex environment • Ability to anticipate customer needs and influence innovative solutions • Ability to communicate highly complex ideas to multiple organizational levels • Ability to work effectively across the organization to create acceptance for ideas and initiatives
