• Lead Baker Tilly and client resources through strategy definition, future-state visioning, target operating model design, roadmap development, and transformation project delivery • Help clients transform organizations using finance, accounting, industry, and operational knowledge • Build operational metrics, roles and responsibilities, and organizational structures • Develop and standardize finance processes and manage contract financial compliance • Define reporting structures and governance mechanisms • Evaluate current states, identify gaps, and provide strategic recommendations • Develop, manage, and measure project approaches and plans across analyze, design, build, test, and deploy phases • Elicit and define requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and site visits • Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks • Manage multiple projects, including staffing, deadlines, coordination, and end-user expectations • Document business cases, business requirements, and implementation plans • Manage third-party vendor relationships • Liaise among executive committee members, stakeholders, and development teams; identify and mitigate project risks and issues • Support practice development, go-to-market activities, delivery methodology standards, and team development • Provide functional expertise and build internal, external, and community relationships • Support team members and clients through the Baker Tilly Value Architect model
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field • Minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience; previous related industry and consulting experience highly preferred • Demonstrated leadership in Public Sector (state/local), Not for Profit, and/or Higher Education • Experience managing senior-level client relationships and working across an organization with multiple stakeholders • Extensive finance and accounting expertise with a proven track record helping clients optimize and develop finance organizations • Ability to lead and supervise others and provide exceptional client service • Ability to decompose scope into detailed activities and deliverables and conduct work package handoff • Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously • Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication, and highly developed Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills • Project experience with full lifecycle application development, including requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, and deployment • Experience with enterprise technology system implementation and management • Project/program management certification and/or Agile certification is a plus • Ability to travel as needed and work outside core business hours for client engagements
