📋 Description

• Manage domestic export programs and international import operations • Own the end-to-end movement of international shipments from export documentation and carrier bookings through customs clearance and final delivery • Prepare accurate and complete export documentation for warehouses and suppliers • Proactively track export shipments and resolve issues with shippers and Project Managers • Investigate inbound-country receiving requirements and verify destination-country labeling requirements • Resolve transportation, logistics systems, import/export, and customer issues • Monitor import/export processes for regulatory and legal compliance • Manage international shipments and present effective client-specific solutions • Arrange bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, co-loaders, and other relevant parties • Coordinate incoming international shipments, including freight forwarder booking, customs clearance, broker communication, and final delivery scheduling • Maintain accurate HTS classification listings and ensure correct tariff treatment for imported products

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of import/export experience • Working knowledge of HTS classification and related requirements • Understanding of EORI, CERS, and U.S. import/export requirements • Strong knowledge of trucking and logistics methods, terminology, and practices • Experience with international shipping requirements, including import/export regulations • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to communicate effectively by phone and email • Ability to recognize when action is necessary and implement required actions with urgency • Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
