📋 Description
• Analyzes medical information from medical records • Accurately codes diagnostic and procedural information according to national guidelines • Provides quality assurance for medical records • Consults with medical providers to clarify missing information and determine appropriate codes • Works independently under regular supervision
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of Neurology Profee EM coding experience • Neurosurgery Specialty experience preferred • Must be currently certified through AAPC or Ahima • Effective and efficient in a remote setting
