📋 Description

• Administer contracts for the organization • Participate in developing and implementing contract management tools and processes • Attend daily contract distribution meetings for assignment of contracts • Review, assess, draft, redline, and process contracts and information in a contract management database • Review and revise proposed contract language for policy, guideline, legal, and business compliance • Assess business terms and negotiate and resolve contract issues with vendors/payers • Prepare contract documents for approval and execution • Verify the intent of proposed contracts with internal and external customers and legal counsel • Interpret contract language and resolve contract issues • For managed care assignments, analyze and compile data, monitor contracts, maintain matrices and files, track key activity dates, and maintain contract workflow logs • Participate in major projects as needed • Interface internally with all levels of company management and externally with vendors or other payers

🎯 Requirements

• Experience consistent with a Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field required • Three plus years of legal experience, preferably relating to contract drafting, preparation and analysis • Demonstrated skill in problem analysis and resolution • Contract management skills • Oral and written communication skills • Highly developed interpersonal and listening skills • Ability to function independently • Demonstrated flexibility in multiple project management • Strong computer and database skills • For managed care assignments: strong contract writing skills and patient financial claims systems knowledge • Certified Paralegal certification preferred • Additional related education and/or experience preferred
