📋 Description

• Provide data and analytic support for the business and a specific subject matter area • Work with large databases and apply quantitative methodologies using advanced analytical tools • Perform substantive, comprehensive, and quantitative analyses • Produce data-driven solutions and recommendations related to outcomes, operations, and profitability • Troubleshoot complex data issues and escalate them to appropriate resources • Work with stakeholders and functional teams to improve business outcomes • Perform standard assignments within the job function while expanding knowledge of relevant theories, practices, procedures, and concepts • Identify and solve problems in straightforward situations using established procedures • Respond to non-standard requests from internal and external customers and investigate issues with assistance as needed • Interact with department peers, supervisor, internal customers, patients, and physicians • Make decisions within guidelines and policies to manage priorities and time effectively

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree typically obtained in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Health Services Research, Process Engineering, Business or related field • 3–4 years of hands-on experience or equivalent with inferential statistics, A/B testing, machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis techniques in a healthcare or similar environment • Experience working with cross-functional departments as a liaison and providing relevant guidance or leadership • Project management skills • Ability to work independently and manage large and multiple projects • Very good communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills • Strong technical skills, including SQL, SAS, and Tableau • Preferred: knowledge of process optimization, clinical workflows, population health, public health, disease prediction, readmissions, imaging analytics, and inpatient/outpatient monitoring and alerting • Masters or PhD in Math, Statistics, or related technical field preferred • Candidates must live in the state of Arizona
