📋 Description

• Prepare complex accounting analyses and reconciliations to support general ledger input • Compute and post complex transactions into financial systems • Prepare complex financial reconciliations and analyses • Serve as a technical resource and liaison to facility finance, department managers, and coworkers • Research and correct errors in the general ledger • Assist management and department leaders with financial data gathering, dissemination, and interpretation • Provide financial modeling resources for special projects • Educate users on assigned financial reporting systems and report preparation • Prepare accurate reports and presentations for state and federal agencies, management, and auditors • Maintain statistical, contractual, and other financial databases • Potentially serve as Cost Center/Program CFO • Assist with operating improvements, efficiencies, budgeting, and financial report interpretation • Potentially lead facility budget processes, including materials, manager training, progress monitoring, and budget-status summaries • Ensure the integrity of statistical files and databases • Keep current with developments in financial accounting and computer fields

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent • 3–5 years in health care finance • Demonstrated abilities in financial statement preparation and analysis • Strong analytical, statistical, and modeling skills • Knowledge of computer applications and office desktop software • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to prioritize multiple projects • Ability to use sophisticated software programs • Excellent human relations, organizational, and communication skills • Previous Health Insurance Accounting experience highly preferred • Systems frequently used: Lawson, Excel, Blackline • Must live in one of the listed states: AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, GA, FL, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MN, MS, NH, NM, NY, NC, ND, NE, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WA, or WY • Must work Monday–Friday during Arizona time zone day hours
