📋 Description

• Prepare complex accounting analyses and reconciliations to support general ledger input • Compute and post complex transactions into financial systems • Prepare financial reconciliations and analyses • Serve as a technical resource and liaison to facility finance, department managers, and coworkers • Research and correct general ledger errors • Assist management and department leaders with financial data gathering, dissemination, and interpretation • Provide financial modeling resources for special projects • Educate users on preparing and using financial reporting system reports • Prepare reports and presentations for state and federal agencies, management, and auditors • Maintain accurate statistical, contractual, and other financial databases • Serve as Cost Center/Program CFO when assigned • Assist with operating improvements, efficiencies, budgeting, and financial report interpretation • Lead facility budget processes when assigned • Ensure integrity of statistical files and databases • Keep abreast of developments in financial accounting and computer fields

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent • 3–5 years in health care finance • Demonstrated abilities in financial statement preparation and analysis • Strong analytical, statistical, and modeling skills • Knowledge of computer applications and office desktop software • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to prioritize multiple projects • Ability to use sophisticated software programs • Excellent human relations, organizational, and communication skills • Previous Health Insurance Accounting experience highly preferred • Experience with Lawson, Excel, and Blackline • Ability to work Monday–Friday days in Arizona time • Must live in one of the listed eligible states for remote work
