📋 Description

• Record daily deposits and reconcile entries for reinsurance activity • Maintain spreadsheets tracking deposits, claims funds, and financial reporting • Record, report, and match billings in accordance with reinsurance agreements • Identify and resolve reconciliation issues related to reinsurance activities • Manage communications with clients, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders • Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and finance departments • Support audits by preparing financial documentation and responding to audit queries • Assist with process improvement initiatives for reinsurance accounting operations • Back up the Accounting (senior) for payables and month-end processing when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance industry • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience using accounting software • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Self-starter with a professional, assertive approach to problem-solving
