• Develop a training curriculum and all necessary materials/documentation for specific stop loss claims • Train newly hired Specific Stop Loss claims auditors and provide refresher training for all auditors • Establish objective tools to measure trainee progress • Determine whether trainees successfully complete training and are ready for production • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to assigned claims teams • Review and analyze Specific Stop Loss claims referred by auditors or requested by clients • Assist with over authorization reviews • Audit Specific Stop Loss claims during peak periods • Review and implement continuous process improvement opportunities • Contribute innovative ideas and assist with implementing new processes
• 3–5 years of Specific Stop Loss Claim experience • Prior Team Lead or Management experience in stop loss claims, including quality assurance experience • Prior experience with industry repricing methodologies, including PPO, Wrap Networks, and Reference Based Pricing • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills • Detail-oriented focus • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Prior experience auditing aggregate stop loss claims (preferred) • History of successful Process Improvement initiatives (preferred) • Prior experience leading a team or managing processes (preferred)
