📋 Description

• Manage EIT's overall budget, including budget preparation, analysis, reporting, loading and annual planning • Partner with EIT managers and leadership on budgeting and financial matters • Interpret technology contracts and assess renewal and invoice impacts • Explain how technology purchases and expenses affect managers' budgets • Analyze data from multiple financial and budgeting systems using Excel • Translate complex financial and technology details into actionable insights • Oversee accurate and timely program/project-level cost accounting • Define processes that provide visibility into project financial health • Support annual budgeting and training processes • Reforecast EIT divisional spend monthly • Develop asset/capital management processes aligned with accounting guidelines • Support EIT contract coordination and tracking for timely renewals and budget variance monitoring • Ensure accuracy of monthly journal entries and accruals prepared by junior staff • Support invoice review, approval and tracking processes • Oversee complex financial reports presented to EIT leadership • Communicate effectively with multiple levels of the EIT and BCBST organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or related field required • 5 years of experience in accounting, finance or project analysis required • Experience with database reporting utilizing financial systems like Workday and Cognos/TM1 • Basic accounting knowledge regarding GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) • Advanced knowledge of basic financial concepts, such as transactions and accruals • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong analytical skills with sound statistical and/or business acumen • Excellent critical-thinking and solution-oriented skills • Strong customer service and team acumen • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities • Sponsorship is not available for this role
