• Oversee planning, execution, and financial management of Waters' Consumable capital projects • Lead the full lifecycle of capital projects from concept and feasibility studies through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout • Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, engineering, finance, quality assurance, vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide financial forecasts and reports to senior management • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies • Maintain reporting mechanisms for project progress, performance metrics, and financial expenditures • Monitor progress, identify issues or deviations, and implement corrective actions • Present project updates, performance reports, and recommendations to executive leadership • Mentor and guide project teams while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in capital project management, preferably within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries • Proven track record of successfully managing a multi-million-dollar capital portfolio • Strong understanding of project management principles, Agile, Waterfall, and tools such as MS Project • Experience in budget development, cost control, and financial reporting for capital projects • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and manage external vendors • Communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making in a complex environment • Familiarity with life sciences regulatory requirements and quality standards, including GMP and FDA • Ability to travel approximately 10% as required to project sites • Master's degree or PMP certification preferred
