📋 Description

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems in hospitals and healthcare facilities • Respond to, evaluate, and prioritize work orders • Diagnose, service, and resolve proprietary hardware and software issues • Retain ownership of work orders and escalate issues to the team lead and manager • Log, track, and detail work order activity • Support all products within the assigned region • Implement preventive maintenance programs • Provide cross-functional support to Sales and Implementation teams • Perform installations, in-servicing, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, and sales support • Maintain accurate small-parts inventory and follow inventory-control procedures • Continue product and application training and attend approved seminars • Follow corporate and service-department procedures, including customer complaint handling and Medical Device Reporting • Travel daily to customer sites in the Vermont region, with possible 5% overnight travel

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma • 3 years of related combination Hardware/Software/IT experience supporting both proprietary and standard applications • 24x7 on-call experience in a customer-facing/field service environment • Computer electronics, Windows OS, and network experience • Ability to work within defined processes and methodologies with minimal supervision • Valid driver's license and compliance with BD's auto safety standards • Current immunizations and additional facility-appropriate immunizations upon hire, including Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, annual TB/PPD, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, and COVID-19 • Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds • Prior experience as a hospital pharmacy technician or in a hospital Bio-Med environment is a plus • Associate degree is preferred • Prior military Bio-Med experience is a plus • Prior Automated Teller Machine (ATM) experience is a plus
