📋 Description

• Research and write stories for Benco Dental’s weekly companywide newsletter • Interview associates and gather information for internal communications • Assist with proofreading, editing, and formatting communications • Create social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram • Write and edit social media captions and digital content • Maintain social media content calendars and schedules • Research social media trends, industry topics, and content opportunities • Capture photos and videos at company events, meetings, and other activities • Monitor social media engagement, comments, and messages • Track social media performance and key metrics • Support communications, marketing, and special projects as needed • Perform other duties as assigned • Comply with all policies and standards to support efficient department and company operations

🎯 Requirements

• Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills • Curious, creative, and eager to learn • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Comfortable researching topics and turning information into engaging content • Interest in social media, digital content, and communications • Ability to identify and develop interesting story ideas • Comfortable working with photos, videos, and other digital content • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, and Canva • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing principles • Interest in learning new tools, platforms, and communications strategies • Effectively communicates (reads, writes, and speaks) English • Must be currently enrolled at time of internship in an undergraduate or graduate program • Ability to work 15 hours per week • A preferred minimum GPA of 3.2
