📋 Description

• Develop and revise advanced sequences of operations to improve HVAC energy efficiency • Assess existing building automation systems for product selection • Conduct field surveys of equipment and automation system capabilities • Create room ventilation schedules based on applicable code requirements • Advise design teams on design alternatives, equipment choices, and pricing decisions • Develop controls submittal packages and parts lists • Manage onsite work direction of controls and low-voltage subcontractors • Start up control systems, including trends, graphics, and programming • Program advanced sequences for critical infrastructure, including central plants • Lead programming and controls implementation efforts • Ensure pre-functional checklists are completed • Troubleshoot control installation problems and failed equipment • Provide construction administration, progress documentation, and design document updates • Support commissioning and complete controls commissioning documentation • Coordinate with other divisions to achieve controls outcomes • Assist with technical reports and related documents • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate staff • Uphold company mission, values, and owner advocacy philosophy • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Tridium, Schneider, or other building automation systems • 10+ years of experience • Expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems • Ability to meet deadlines • Basic planning skills • Problem-solving skills • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment • 50% travel to job sites/office locations • Ability to work in varied physical and environmental conditions • Ability to operate machinery, power tools, and motor vehicles • Ability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds
