📋 Description

• Develop and revise advanced sequences of operations to improve HVAC equipment energy efficiency • Assess existing building automation systems and assist with product selection • Conduct field surveys to identify equipment types and automation system capabilities • Create Room Ventilation Schedules based on applicable code requirements • Provide design feedback on alternatives, equipment choices, and pricing decisions • Develop controls submittal packages including parts lists • Manage onsite work direction of controls and low-voltage subcontractors • Start up control systems, including trends, graphics, and programming • Program advanced sequences of operations for critical infrastructure and central plants • Lead programming and controls implementation efforts • Ensure pre-functional checklists and commissioning documentation are complete • Troubleshoot control installation problems and failed equipment • Provide construction administration, progress documentation, and design document updates • Coordinate with other divisions to achieve controls outcomes • Assist with technical reports and related documents • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate groups • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Tridium, Schneider, or other building automation systems • 10+ years of experience • Expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems • Ability to meet deadlines • Basic planning skills • Problem-solving skills • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment • Travel 50% of the time to job sites/office location • Ability to work in varied physical environments, including climbing, kneeling, standing, confined spaces, and operating machinery or power tools • Ability to operate motor vehicles • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds • Associate degree in automation, controls instrumentation, or related fields (preferred) • Journeyman electrician (preferred)
