📋 Description

• Spearhead strategic procurement operations supporting high-priority defense and government initiatives • Collaborate with Programs, Finance, Contracts, and Engineering to understand requirements and align procurement activities with program requirements and schedules • Tackle complex supply chain challenges for the DoW and Intelligence Community • Develop and present strategic sourcing plans, including supplier selection, risk assessments, and performance reviews • Manage the full procurement lifecycle from planning through closeout in accordance with company policies, FAR, and DFARS • Support business growth objectives and strong program performance • Maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers • Conduct market research, supplier qualification, source selection, and cost/price reasonableness evaluations • Use purchasing and ERP systems to create and manage purchase orders and ensure compliance • Maintain accurate procurement files and documentation • Use AI-enabled tools and apply AI to improve Contracts and Supply Chain efficiency, quality, and effectiveness • Recommend and help implement procurement process improvements • Communicate with internal customers, partners, and stakeholders regarding order status, changes, and returns

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of Federal procurement, purchasing, or contracting experience (or Master's degree + 3 years) • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (for which US Citizenship is required) • Demonstrated experience in negotiations and supplier management • Experience with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply federal acquisition policies in context • Knowledge of ITAR/EAR export controls and counterfeit parts prevention practices • Collaborative, self-motivated, and efficient, with strong business judgment and analytical skills • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with customers, partners, and colleagues at all levels • Willingness to expand expertise across other areas of Supply Chain as well as Contracts
