📋 Description

• Evaluate and resolve all components of first- and third-party commercial auto claims • Direct commercial automobile claim loss investigations and adjusting from a remote office setting • Investigate BI/UM/UIM losses using Independent Adjusters and other internal/external resources • Identify coverage issues and complete coverage analysis • Evaluate and value injuries and damages • Handle moderate to severe injury claims, including soft-tissue injuries, fractures, disc herniations, joint dislocations, short-term hospitalizations, and outpatient surgeries • Handle attorney-represented claimants • Analyze and respond to Time Limited Policy Demands • Work with physicians/therapists, attorneys, accountants, medical billing audit firms, accident reconstructionists, biomechanical engineers, and forensic accountants • Maintain claim files according to established best claim practice guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience handling bodily injury claims • Bachelor's degree required for candidates with less than 5 years of relevant adjusting experience • Strong knowledge of auto claims adjusting practices • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong letter writing skills • Strong organizational and computer skills • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize • Ability to switch focus at a moment’s notice • Ability to multi-task when needed • Self-motivator who works independently with minimal to moderate supervision • Strong ability to understand and review policy documentation • Ability to formulate solid action plans to resolve claims • Ability to effectively present files in front of groups • Obtain and maintain all required state licenses • Ability to travel for company / claim related events if needed
