📋 Description

• Investigate losses and identify coverage issues • Obtain and review estimates, evidence, reports, and medical records • Handle first-party damages • Handle third-party damages • Handle total loss, fire, theft, and glass claims • Evaluate injury demands • Handle non-represented and represented claims • Establish damages and reserves • Process payments • Take recorded statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses • Maintain claim files according to best claim practice guidelines • Obtain and maintain all required state licenses

🎯 Requirements

• Solid knowledge of auto claims adjusting practices • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail • Strong organizational and computer skills • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize • Ability to switch focus at a moment’s notice • Ability to multi-task • Self-motivator who works independently with minimal to moderate supervision • Flexibility to travel for conferences and meetings if required • Bachelor's degree preferred • Bachelor's degree not required with 3+ years of claims experience (Auto PD) or 5+ years of relevant experience • Active adjuster license required • Cargo, In-Tow, and Total Loss Claims experience from start to finish preferred • Experience investigating coverage and writing coverage letters • Experience presenting files in round table discussions • Vehicle damage appraisal experience preferred • Ability to obtain and maintain all required state licenses
