BIMTM is a specialist BIM and VDC services firm serving the AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) industry. They provide MEP coordination and modeling, lead coordination, clash detection, 3D/4D modeling, Revit training, facilities/BIM for FM, and on-call BIM staffing and project augmentation to improve constructability and reduce rework. BIMTM works with architects, engineers, general contractors, trades, and government clients to streamline workflows from design through construction and maintenance.

📋 Description

• Lead development and creation of 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP systems • Enter accurate, current information into BIM software • Update and maintain BIM models to reflect design changes, revisions, and project developments • Work with project members to implement BIMTM processes • Lead coordination teams in resolving clashes and conflicts among BIM systems • Perform model quality checks for BIM standards, accuracy, and completeness • Generate drawings, reports, and documentation from BIM models • Lead advanced data-management workflows throughout coordination projects • Use BIM software and stay current with software updates and enhancements • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams on communication and data sharing • Identify and resolve model issues and discrepancies • Manage and organize project data, files, and documentation within the BIM environment • Report BIM coordination progress and status to project leads and managers • Manage tasks, deadlines, project milestones, and goals • Work with clients to understand construction schedules and sequencing constraints and plan coordination accordingly • Train and support less experienced colleagues and provide advanced workflow-specific support

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree required in a related field such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management • 3–5 years of BIM/VDC experience leading MEP coordination for large commercial construction projects • Conversational knowledge of MEP systems • Experience supporting GC self-perform trades with BIM workflows is a plus • Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, and related plugins is a plus • Leadership ability to train less experienced colleagues • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong understanding of construction documents and the design/construction process • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to creatively solve problems, navigate ambiguity, and prioritize work • Detail-oriented approach focused on high-quality deliverables • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and industry certifications is advantageous • Experience with laser scanning, drones, and total stations is a plus • Ability to work within the United States
