📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive financial management and analytical support to the OCFO within the U.S. Space Force • Use DEAMS, FMSuite, ADVANA, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint to manage and present financial information • Assist in budget formulation, execution tracking, and performance measurement • Certify and process funding documents in DEAMS, distribute and load funds, and support month-end and year-end close • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, cost savings, and process improvements • Prepare and deliver financial reports, forecasts, and briefing materials to senior leadership • Support data reconciliation, obligation and expenditure reviews, reimbursable order acceptance, billing, and collections • Maintain compliance with DoD financial regulations, internal control frameworks, and fiscal policy guidance • Collaborate with functional teams to ensure accurate data inputs and reporting outputs • Support audits and assist with audit documentation and findings responses

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of progressive DoD financial management experience • DoD Financial Management Certification • Minimum 5 years of hands-on DEAMS experience, including funding document certification, fund distribution and loading, and month-end/year-end close support • Experience across the accounting and reimbursable order-to-cash cycle, including customer order acceptance, obligation and expenditure review, billing, and collections reconciliation • Familiarity with Working Capital Fund or activity-group accounting principles • Secret or higher security clearance • U.S. Citizenship • Prior Space Force or Air Force comptroller experience preferred • Experience with FMSuite, FRC, GAFS, IAPS, or DTS preferred • DoD Financial Management Certification Level 1 or higher preferred • DISA FAMIS experience preferred
