📋 Description

• Partner on design reviews and provide oversight to the project’s SCADA engineer, vendors, and third-party engineer of record • Develop designs and bills of materials for project estimating • Coordinate with procurement on design information, quantities, and equipment parameters • Coordinate with construction and internal or external engineers of record to ensure safety, reliability, quality, and project compliance • Coordinate site-team milestones critical to SCADA infrastructure • Align third-party vendors to ensure SCADA systems are commissioned and operational according to the project schedule • Coordinate and integrate site-level SCADA design and commissioning activities • Manage and coordinate third-party engineers and commissioning personnel • Serve as the main point of contact for onsite commissioning, scheduling, and project SCADA coordination • Build working relationships with SCADA integrators, engineers of record, design firms, equipment vendors, and onsite technicians • Ensure designs support safe, reliable, and quality work practices • Ensure projects comply with NESC, NEC, NERC, FERC, and NFPA safety standards

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in computer science or electrical technician school preferred • Equivalent experience and High School Diploma required • Minimum of 4 years of solar commissioning experience required • At least 2 years of SCADA commissioning and troubleshooting knowledge required • Must be able to travel up to 50% • Plant monitoring experience • Field commissioning experience • Remote Operating Center (ROC) or plant-operating experience • Knowledge of NESC, NEC, NERC, FERC, and NFPA safety standards
