📋 Description

• Shape the financial strategy and drive growth initiatives for the portfolio company • Oversee all financial aspects of the company • Contribute to executive decision-making processes • Ensure the organization's financial health and stability • Report directly to the CEO and Board of Directors • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the overall financial strategy • Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial analysis • Ensure accuracy, compliance, adherence to industry standards, and regulatory requirements • Generate timely and accurate financial reports for executive management and the board • Provide actionable insights for business performance improvement • Evaluate and manage financial risks and implement mitigation strategies • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and accounting principles • Leverage software-industry experience to assess and strengthen the company's commercial posture • Protect sensitive financial data and intellectual property from potential threats • Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships • Build and lead a high-performing finance team • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment • Mentor and develop team members

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive financial management experience • Ideally, a minimum of 3–5 years of CFO experience • Private Equity backed Portfolio Company Experience • Exit experience preferred • M&A experience • Technical proficiency in SaaS / enterprise technology revenue recognition • Understanding of ERP, CRM and other relevant billing dependencies • Ideal candidate based in the United States • Experience in a recurring-revenue, subscription-based software business • Experience leading or materially supporting mergers and acquisitions transactions as CFO • Experience leading a company through a successful liquidity event preferred/assessed • Experience as CFO or equivalent senior finance leader for a Private Equity-backed SaaS company preferred/assessed
