📋 Description

• Run Blueberry's day-to-day security operations • Find and fix vulnerabilities across the Google Cloud Platform environment and Python/Django applications • Manage security tools and controls protecting devices, network, and accounts • Scan and monitor the GCP environment, self-hosted services, and dependencies • Prioritize vulnerabilities by risk and track issues to resolution • Resolve vulnerabilities directly and partner with engineering on larger fixes • Maintain security logging, monitoring, and alerting • Support incident investigations • Test backups and recovery regularly • Deploy and manage EDR and MDM across company devices • Manage firewall and egress rules and network segmentation • Conduct access reviews, offboarding, and credential rotations • Set up accounts and devices for new hires • Administer SaaS tools and support device and account issues • Own metrics including remediation time, vulnerability backlog, EDR/MDM coverage, and timely access reviews/offboarding • Report to the Head of Security

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in security, cloud, systems administration, DevOps, or software engineering • Proficiency in Python and experience working in a production codebase • Strong Linux fundamentals, including patching and maintaining production systems • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or another major cloud provider • Hands-on experience with several of: vulnerability scanning, EDR, MDM, logging and monitoring, network security, and identity and access management • Experience with Django or web application development is a plus • Experience remediating vulnerabilities is a plus • Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry is a plus • Must live and work in the United States • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States • Must not require Blueberry support to maintain work authorization
