• Reporting to the Vice President, Supply Chain • provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the health system’s sourcing and contracting lifecycle • leads the development and execution of enterprise-wide sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance across clinical and non-clinical portfolios • partners closely with clinical, operational, and financial leaders to drive value-based purchasing, clinical standardization, and supply chain transformation initiatives • manages a professional team of sourcing, contracting, and value analysis staff by establishing performance expectations, operational workflows, and KPI accountability frameworks • develops strategic supplier partnerships and governs vendor performance using data-driven scorecards to monitor cost, service delivery, compliance, and innovation metrics • mitigates health system supply chain risk through the implementation of diversified sourcing strategies, domestic alternative pathways, and proactive contingency planning to ensure total continuity of supply
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field • minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement (preferably in a healthcare environment) • at least 5 years of formal supervisory experience managing professional staff • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) is preferred with 12+ years of progressive healthcare supply chain leadership experience • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP), Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP) certification, or Institute for Supply Management Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation are preferred.
