📋 Description

• Implement the Finance Roadmap and strategic transformation plan • Lead workstreams across finance transformation initiatives from assessment through implementation • Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations • Present Finance team findings to senior Finance stakeholders and system leadership • Implement recommendations and build trusted advisor relationships with Finance counterparts • Create PowerPoint presentations and develop or modify detailed Excel models for what-if analyses • Establish key metrics and facilitate working team meetings • Identify and help mitigate risks and issues • Develop content and ensure Finance Roadmap results are met • Support cross-functional performance improvement efforts through financial analysis and reporting • Coordinate within Finance and the broader organization so decisions and results are recognized for planning and forecasting • Build partnerships among finance teams and technology teams • Align the Financial Roadmap with operational requirements and new tools and processes • Document current data-system capabilities, functions, and limitations • Research best practices and perform cost-benefit analyses to recommend Roadmap adjustments • Drive automation and efficient processes across Finance • Operate independently as the financial and operational lead for strategic initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics), Public Health, Public Administration or Health Administration • 5+ years of relevant experience with Healthcare Finance, Finance Transformation, Organizational Transformation or Strategy Consulting • Strong financial and technical skills • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Facility with Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to present to executive, clinical, and non-clinical staff • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize issues under aggressive deadlines • Ability to foster trust and collaboration across complex departments and specialties • Superior project management, analytic, problem-solving, and data-integrity skills • Ability to coach and develop a diverse team • Understanding of financial and accounting metrics and reporting • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision • Willingness to accept new responsibilities as needed • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Must adhere to BMC’s RESPECT behavioral standards • Must follow established hospital infection control and safety procedures as applicable
