📋 Description

• Lead strategic planning and operational oversight of Medical Affairs activities • Drive alignment across annual medical planning, execution priorities, and functional objectives • Lead Extended Medical Leadership Team and Department Hot Topics Meetings, including agenda planning, follow-up tracking, and team initiative coordination • Oversee internal medical team training and onboarding programs • Direct budget planning and tracking, contract management, and sponsorship and grant review governance • Lead cross-functional project management for Medical Affairs initiatives • Drive process excellence and continuous improvement through tools, systems, and scalable ways of working • Oversee conference planning and execution, including pre-congress planning, onsite coordination, and post-congress follow-up • Coordinate medical meetings, events, and congress activities with stakeholders, vendors, and external organizers • Establish processes and accountability for conference logistics, deliverables, and resource planning • Own and oversee the Medical Affairs budget, including forecasting and reconciliation with Finance • Lead contract management across vendors, venues, and service providers • Review and oversee sponsorship and grant processes • Identify operational and financial risks, gaps, and opportunities and implement improvements • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as priorities evolve

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or medical affairs environments • Familiarity with event planning, logistics, and operational support highly desirable • Strong budget management, contract administration, and vendor coordination skills • Proven experience managing SharePoint or similar digital collaboration platforms • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities • Flexibility to travel as required for congress support • Team-oriented with a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and customer service focus • Ability to leverage AI to drive program, portfolio, or functional performance through prioritization and scaled adoption
