📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted medical partner for internal stakeholders and the healthcare community • Identify disease- and product-related medical needs within a defined geography • Develop and maintain relationships with thought leaders, healthcare providers, and access stakeholders • Conduct scientific exchange through one-to-one interactions, group presentations, and remote channels • Present scientific and clinical information accurately and compliantly • Assess the medical landscape and understand stakeholder needs and expertise • Maintain knowledge of treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, HEOR, and scientific activities • Monitor competitive landscapes and evolving healthcare models • Partner with healthcare providers on disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research • Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings • Collect and communicate medical insights to medical and commercial organizations • Contribute to medical plans and geography-specific field medical and thought-leader interaction plans • Contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans • Develop and deliver scientifically meaningful medical programs and projects • Collaborate compliantly with cross-matrix field teams • Support medical/scientific training and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders • Provide scientific support at promotional meetings and evaluate speakers • Participate in assigned congress activities • Support interventional and non-interventional research studies, including site identification and patient recruitment • Provide study and site feasibility recommendations to clinical development teams • Support healthcare providers through investigator-sponsored research submission, execution, and follow-up • Ensure pharmacovigilance procedures are understood and applied and alert BMS personnel to adverse events • Support CRO-sponsored studies

🎯 Requirements

• MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with experience in a specific disease area or broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience • Disease area knowledge and understanding of scientific publications • Knowledge of a scientific or clinical area, competitive landscape, and patient treatment trends • Knowledge of clinical trial design and process • Knowledge of the national healthcare and access environment • Knowledge of HEOR core concepts • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written • Minimum of 2 years working in a clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment • Prior MSL experience • Ability to work independently and act as a team player • Ability to translate scientific or clinical data into an understandable and valuable form • Good communication and presentation skills for research or healthcare professionals • Experience developing peer-to-peer relationships with thought leaders, scientists, and healthcare professionals • Ability to quickly and comprehensively learn new subject areas and environments • Demonstration of the BMS Values • Ability to drive a company-provided car • High level of ethics and integrity • Responsible and safe driving history • Must live in the managed territory or within 50 miles of the territory borders • Travel required
