📋 Description

• Meet with inventors and draft patent applications for filing in the USPTO • Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO, including interviewing Examiners • Collaborate with clients and BoMc attorneys to develop and refine claim strategies • Proactively manage a docket of cases across clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies • Draft noninfringement and invalidity opinions • Conduct due diligence investigations • Perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses under the supervision of firm partners

🎯 Requirements

• 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience • Applicants with electrical engineering, computer/software, mechanical engineering, chemistry/biochemistry, biology, physics, or IPR/litigation backgrounds are of particular interest • Positive attitude toward client service • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and professional service skills (written and verbal) • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and work in a team environment • Self-starter with commitment to success and personal professional growth • Enjoy being involved in all aspects of a vibrant law firm team • Cover letter required • School transcripts should be submitted with the application or when contacted by the firm
