📋 Description
• Conduct compliance activities for assigned high-risk healthcare compliance areas • Assist with investigations, monitoring, tracking, and operational compliance reporting • Support compliance awareness and training and promote a culture of compliance • Collaborate with leaders, associates, vendors, and other stakeholders on compliance concerns, policies, auditing, and monitoring • Research regulations, laws, and policies • Draft engagement letters and review records • Identify opportunities and implement and monitor corrective action plans • Triage reports of potential non-compliance and respond to Compliance Helpline inquiries • Participate in compliance workgroups and committees • Coordinate daily activities with compliance vendor systems and oversee service-related issue resolution • Develop reports, mitigation plans, and risk assessments with other Compliance Generalists • Develop educational programs and prepare and deliver compliance training materials • Research and recommend changes for annual compliance policy and procedure reviews • Maintain compliance documentation and prepare summary reports
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare operations, business administration, or related field (required) • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare compliance (required) • Certified in Healthcare Compliance – Health Care Compliance Association (preferred) • Knowledge of healthcare systems (preferred) • Knowledge of healthcare laws (preferred) • Working knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS, OIG, Stark, and Anti-Kickback • Basic auditing and monitoring protocols • Policy and procedure drafting, editing, and maintenance • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency • Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems • Ability to collect and synthesize compliance data • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with compliance and operational stakeholders • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical judgment • Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
