📋 Description

• Perform compliance activities for assigned high-risk healthcare compliance areas, including monitoring, auditing, advising, policy and procedure development, training, education, and regulatory research • Support prompt investigations of compliance violations or risks • Assist with investigations, monitoring, tracking, reporting, compliance awareness, and training • Collaborate with leaders, associates, vendors, and other stakeholders on compliance concerns, inquiries, policies, auditing, and monitoring • Research regulations, laws, and policies; draft engagement letters; review records; identify opportunities; and implement and monitor corrective action plans • Serve as an initial point of contact and triage reports of potential non-compliance • Monitor, document, and respond to inquiries and concerns received through the compliance Helpline • Participate in compliance focus-area workgroups or committees • Coordinate daily operational activities with compliance vendor systems and oversee resolution of service-related issues • Develop reports, mitigation plans, and risk assessments with other Compliance Generalists • Assist in developing proactive compliance education programs • Conduct research and recommend changes for annual compliance policy and procedure reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare operations, business administration, or related field (required) • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare compliance (required) • Certified in Healthcare Compliance – Health Care Compliance Association (preferred) • Knowledge of healthcare systems (preferred) • Knowledge of healthcare laws (preferred) • Working knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, OIG, Stark, Anti-Kickback, and other key healthcare regulations • Basic auditing and monitoring protocols • Policy and procedure drafting, editing, and maintenance • Compliance documentation in designated systems • Compliance education and training materials • Compliance data collection and synthesis • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Electronic medical record systems • Critical thinking and problem-solving • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical judgment
