📋 Description

• Create specific Intercom product or system solutions based on project-specific end-user requirements and vertical needs • Support project tenders and the related execution process • Provide technical support for regional customers • Translate end-user requirements into technical solutions, adapting standard products for verticals and projects • Consider cross-business-unit and third-party integration requirements • Oversee preparation of technical concepts and system designs for dedicated product solutions and projects • Provide level 2 and level 3 guidance and support for troubleshooting and upgrades throughout system lifecycles • Support final installation and commissioning, including troubleshooting • Collaborate with the sales organization during projects and project acquisition • Assist sales in explaining concepts to end-users, influencers, and system integrators • Troubleshoot, test, and debug RTS products and software, reporting findings to engineering • Support training for sales and customers locally

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical domain or Engineering combined with experience in a field related to professional communications • Commensurate experience in lieu of education may be considered • 5+ years of experience in technical support/engineering, preferably in the Critical Communications or Broadcast markets • Strong expertise in the IP domain • Conceptual knowledge of Audio over IP platforms, including Dante, AES67, and SMPTE 2110 • Good knowledge of RTS intercom standards, including 2-Wire, Analog, OMNEO, and RVON • Understanding of server virtualization • Knowledge of constructing, translating, and understanding signal flow diagrams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to plan, organize, follow through, and implement activities to achieve timely, accurate results while managing multiple projects • Ability to identify problems and root causes and apply creative problem-solving • Active listening skills • Trustworthy and credible, remaining consistent in word and action • Valid passport • English proficiency required • Indefinite U.S. work authorization required; future sponsorship is not available • Normal office environment; some exposure to factory and warehouse environments may be required depending on projects • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including possible international travel
