📋 Description

• Handle all phases of New York Labor Law litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, court appearances, and mediations • Research applicable statutes, case law, and regulations to build effective defense strategies • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents • Communicate strategy and updates to claims representatives and insured clients • Track billable hours and comply with invoicing standards • Mentor junior attorneys • Collaborate with partners on complex construction matters

🎯 Requirements

• NY-barred attorney • 4 to 6 years of experience litigating New York Labor Law actions • JD from an accredited law school • Working knowledge of Sections 200, 240(1), and 241(6) • Knowledge of the construction litigation landscape • Comfortable handling a caseload independently • Strong drafting skills • Experience in motions practice • Lives within commutable distance to Long Island
