• Lead user experience and interface design for a large-scale Salesforce-based service modernization effort supporting a state motor vehicles agency client • Design UX/UI solutions using Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) • Normalize legacy transaction flows into consistent, reusable UI patterns • Create, maintain, and govern a design system used by multiple development teams • Conduct user research and translate findings through qualitative analysis and synthesis • Produce interaction designs, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications for development implementation • Apply digital accessibility standards and review interfaces for compliance • Document design patterns, component usage, and governance decisions • Partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders on functional and technical requirements • Review implemented interfaces against design system standards and identify deviations • Provide design guidance to designers and development teams
• Minimum of two years of full-time equivalent experience with the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS); general Salesforce platform or Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience does not satisfy this requirement • Minimum of one successfully completed project achieving full implementation and operational completion, normalizing approximately 200 flows into consistent user interface patterns • Experience creating, maintaining, and governing a design system used simultaneously by multiple independent development teams • Working knowledge of digital accessibility standards and their application in interface design • Ability to document cited project experience with start and end dates, detailed descriptions, and reachable professional references for client compliance verification • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; qualifying experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis • Three or more years of experience in digital design, user research, qualitative analysis and synthesis, and interaction design • All cited experience must have occurred within the last fifteen years and be documentable in full-time month equivalents • Must be eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorships available • Preferred: Salesforce Certified User Experience Designer credential • Preferred: IAAP CPACC or WAS certification • Preferred: prior experience supporting a state department of motor vehicles or comparable state agency engagement
