📋 Description

• Support operations, development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of the client's Oracle Federal Financial EBS on-premises system hosted on AWS • Define, support, secure, and administer Oracle databases for optimal performance and availability • Apply Oracle patches and upgrades • Create backup and recovery strategies and perform scheduled and ad hoc backups • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Oracle E-Business Suite • Maintain data integrity, security, confidentiality, and access controls • Evaluate and apply quarterly Oracle Critical Patch Updates and security vulnerability patches • Interact with Oracle regarding critical incidents, patches, changes, upgrades, and service bulletins • Manage concurrent managers, concurrent programs, request sets, request groups, and workflows • Troubleshoot database, workflow mailer, notification, and user-reported issues • Manage RMAN backups and Data Guard disaster-recovery replication • Use PL/SQL packages, Shell, and Perl scripts for task automation • Review, develop, recommend, enforce, and follow database policies and standards • Maintain and update SOPs for Oracle EBS installation and configuration • Manage database storage capacity and identify software upgrade or replacement opportunities • Identify opportunities for innovation and automation • Develop and maintain technical documentation and designs • Collaborate, share information, and deliver quality work products on schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience providing database support for Oracle databases aligned with Oracle applications • Proficiency across a wide range of database technologies • Experience creating and managing standalone Oracle databases • Experience troubleshooting Oracle, SQL Server, and/or SQL Cluster issues, including error triage • Experience troubleshooting Oracle application-related issues involving database development, support, and management • Experience performing analysis of Oracle patches and open service requests • Experience responding to requests for change (RFCs) for maintenance and enhancements • Experience performing server maintenance and installing software patches • Experience performing impact analysis of periodically released Oracle product updates • Experience establishing and enforcing database security policies, user access controls, and data encryption • Experience monitoring and optimizing database performance • Experience planning, implementing, and managing backup and recovery strategies • Ability to create and maintain database documentation • Ability to work individually and as part of a team • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience • 5+ years of relevant experience
