📋 Description

• Proofread edits from tracked Word changes, PDF, Excel, PPT, and HTML files • Perform full quality checks on financial documents during creation and after client changes • Review documents before filing with the SEC and/or printing • Compare converted documents with original client documents to ensure content matches • Verify spelling, style, alignment, job numbers, folios, headings, and other formatting details • Check logos and graphics for correctness and quality • Mark identified changes directly on printed PDF proofs using Adobe annotation tools • Collaborate with client-facing and internal Composition teams

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years of proofreading experience preferred • Degree in English or similar field as an alternative to proofreading experience • Prior proofreading experience in Financial Printing is a plus • High level of skill in written English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation • Self-motivated to work efficiently and meet deadlines • Ability to stay focused throughout an entire document, including long and technical documents • Good interpersonal skills to build working relationships with co-workers and internal clients • Extensive confidence with computers and a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite • Comfortable working with high volumes while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work flexible and potentially extended hours during seasonal periods • Ability to work overnight second shift (4:00 PM–12:00 AM ET) or third shift (12:00 AM–8:00 AM ET), including one weekend day
