📋 Description

• Perform full quality checks on financial documents during creation and after client changes, before SEC filing and/or printing • Compare converted documents with client originals to ensure text matches • Proofread and verify spelling, grammar, style, alignment, job numbers, page numbers, and headings • Verify logos are correct and high quality • Mark identified changes directly on printed PDF proofs • Identify and resolve routine issues using established guidelines • Escalate exceptions appropriately • Manage individual workload and contribute to a collaborative team environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience • 2–4 years of professional proofreading experience • 2–4 years of typesetting, publishing, document production, or quality-control experience • Proficiency in written English, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and style consistency • Ability to identify discrepancies in text, formatting, layout, pagination, graphics, and data • Ability to review complex financial, technical, and mathematical content accurately • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to review PDF and HTML files; familiarity with Adobe • Familiarity with SEC filing requirements or other regulated-document workflows • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize work, and meet short turnaround times • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work flexible and extended hours during peak seasonal periods
