📋 Description

• Work with network administrators, system administrators, developers, business managers, and end users to manage the security of the IT environment • Monitor evolving security issues and identify appropriate preventive and detective measures • Support daily operational tasks and enterprise-wide projects • Ensure implementation of technical standards and manage technical controls fundamental to enterprise security and monitoring • Participate in security incident response activities, including malware, intrusion detection/prevention, and data loss prevention incidents • Maintain continuous systems monitoring and vulnerability management • Track and report security KPIs and metrics to management • Assist with regulatory compliance activities, including PCI, SOX, and HIPAA self-assessments, third-party reviews, and due diligence • Provide technical support for security-team systems, including anti-malware and encryption • Evaluate IT policy compliance and manage policy exceptions • Review security configurations of key systems • Support security management, architecture, and documentation • Assist with security training for new associate orientation • Design and execute security awareness programs • Execute security-related projects, prepare project plans, and document progress • Perform risk assessments according to Brookdale specifications • Assist with security planning, development, and implementation across multiple platforms and applications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and a minimum of one to three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Well-rounded understanding of technology, operations and key business processes • Re-engineering/process improvement experience • Experience leading and coaching quality improvement projects • Working knowledge of a skill or discipline requiring basic analytic ability • Overall understanding of the work environment and process • Working knowledge of the organization • Ability to occasionally travel • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds • Requires interaction with co-workers, residents or vendors • No certifications, licenses, or other special requirements
