📋 Description

• Support the strategic plan for risk assumption, risk transfer, and loss prevention activities related to physician and non-clinical risks • Collect underwriting information for captive, reinsurance, physician, commercial insurance policy renewals, and bonds • Maintain historical underwriting data and databases of insured entities, properties, vehicles, drivers, and physicians • Maintain insurance schedules, policies, premiums, and policy summaries • Assist with risk evaluation and physician onboarding into the captive • Assist with physician credentialing and loss history requests • Analyze risk and implement clinical and non-clinical loss prevention activities, including education • Assist with compliance involving patient compensation funds and other special state funds • Process and track invoices, premium payments, and premium returns • Manage certificate requests with facilities, practice managers, real estate, finance, human resources, and other internal departments • Keep administrative, clinical, market, and system leaders informed of significant events and risk management activities • Work on special projects and assist as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Healthcare, Business, or a related field • CPHRM required within 4 years of hire • 3+ years in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention, or a related field, or a combination of post-secondary education and experience in lieu of a degree • 5+ years in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention, or a related field preferred • CPCU, ARM, or similar certifications preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Data analysis and risk analysis skills • Planning and organizational skills • Data entry and electronic file management • Ability to submit payments and credits for processing • Ability to assist with loss prevention • Attention to detail and critical thinking • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work well with others, professionalism, positive attitude, dependability, flexibility, adaptability, and openness to feedback
