📋 Description

• Conduct virtual audits and pre-audits of selected larger or complex commercial lines policies • Review customer business operations and examine, verify, and record classification-related data from financial business records • Ensure audit quality through proper risk classification and exposure basis identification • Record audit information using a laptop and transmit completed audits in a timely manner • Discuss audit issues and premium changes with insureds • Provide agents, insureds, underwriting, claims, and accounting with audit-related information • Stay informed about premium-auditing changes through industry experts and literature • Work professionally to conserve and protect Builders Mutual corporate assets • Complete special projects and assignments • Assist in training less experienced auditors • Provide mentorship and guidance to lower-level auditors • Collaborate virtually with the team daily

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field plus 3-5 years of industry experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Excellent computer skills (MS Office) • Excellent customer service skills • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills • Highly effective in time management • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills • Ability to work from a home office with little direct supervision • High level of understanding of insurance coverages • Must be located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, or Florida
