📋 Description

• Define product direction for Platform, own the roadmap, and prioritize work based on reliability, security, and long-term scalability • Partner with engineering on architecture decisions, technical debt, and build-vs-buy calls • Own authentication and identity workflows • Guide mobile infrastructure investments supporting iOS and Android performance and stability • Build feedback loops with internal product teams that depend on Platform • Validate opportunities through focused experiments and technical spikes • Establish success metrics tied to reliability, uptime, and developer velocity • Partner with security and infrastructure teams to meet Buildertrend standards • Communicate technical trade-offs to engineering and non-technical stakeholders • Use AI tools, including Claude, Lovable, and CoPilot, for prototyping, analysis, documentation, and experimentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B software, including ownership of platform, horizontal, or internal tools products • Proven record of delivering products that improved reliability, performance or scalability • Ability to drive large initiatives across teams and organizations • Strong product judgment and ability to connect technical decisions into business outcomes • Ability to make clear decisions in complex or ambiguous situations • Systems thinker who understands end-to-end infrastructure and dependencies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences • Comfortable engaging directly with engineers on architecture, APIs and technical trade-offs • Comfortable using provided tools, including Claude Code, to explore the code base, pressure test technical tradeoffs, and maintain ownership of AI-assisted outputs
