• Lead the planning, execution, delivery, completion, and financial outcomes of complex, multi-phase construction projects • Lead multiple retail construction projects, including retail, restaurant, big-box store, convenience store, gas station, distribution center, and electric vehicle charging station projects • Manage projects from entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, store startup, turnover, through project closeout • Manage consultants, general contractors, vendors, specialty contractors, budgets, internal departments, and developers • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource allocations • Monitor milestones, deliverables, budgets, schedules, risks, and project quality • Provide regular status reports and project updates to leadership, stakeholders, clients, and representatives • Create and maintain detailed project documentation in proprietary or client software • Navigate contract administration and change orders • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners across multiple sites and states • Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively solve problems • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures • Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders • Provide timely customer service and proactive solutions to client needs • Conduct regular project execution assessments and implement continuous-improvement feedback loops • Travel to client and project sites across the United States by plane, motor vehicle, and train
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in a related field, with a minimum of three years of related experience • In lieu of degree, five years or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations and a clean driving record • Current PMP preferred • Knowledge of project components, processes, and methodologies • Time management, active listening, critical thinking, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely • Ability to work successfully from a remote location • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job • Must have a cell phone and supply your own internet service • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex project documents • Ability to manage multiple sites and states concurrently • Availability for travel of approximately 50%–90% of the work schedule, including potential overnight stays • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds • Ability to operate an electronic tablet, computer, and motor vehicle • Ability to work near energized electrical components, outdoor conditions, heights, fumes, extreme temperatures, and other construction-site hazards
