📋 Description

• Perform QA/QC inspections of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, fire and life safety, and structural components. • Perform building assessment projects, including data aggregation, equipment bar coding, housing data collection, parking lot studies, and surveys. • Conduct walk-through surveys of building equipment, systems, structures, interiors, exteriors, roofs, and pavement. • Collect data from equipment plates and enter it into web-based programs. • Photograph equipment, tags, site features, and building conditions. • Evaluate equipment condition and apply bar codes to identified equipment. • Review plans, construction documents, scopes of work, property records, maintenance records, inspection reports, warranties, and repair or improvement costs. • Complete more complex assessments such as Property Condition Assessments, ADA checklists, and environmental data collection after training and onsite experience. • Prepare written reports describing findings according to ASTM standards, with photographs and supporting documentation. • Identify deficiencies, hazards, and non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions. • Communicate inspection results and compliance issues to property owners, contractors, and stakeholders. • Collaborate with engineers, architects, inspectors, senior management, and technical field staff. • Maintain project communication and information flow regarding deployment issues and potential problems. • Meet productivity and report-quality objectives while providing timely customer service. • Follow company policies, SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards. • Travel by plane, motor vehicle, and train to client/project sites across the U.S.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required; some college preferred • Minimum of 3 years related experience • Valid driver's license required with no significant motor vehicle report (MVR) points/violations and a clean driving record • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures • Ability to present information and respond to questions from clients, peers, and technical field staff • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to interpret extensive instructions and manage abstract and concrete variables • Time management skills • Active listening skills • Critical thinking skills • Problem-solving skills • Oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to work safely and remain alert • Must have a cell phone and supply own internet service • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including walking, standing, climbing, balancing, crouching, crawling, lifting, and operating electronic devices • Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely with passengers • Ability to successfully work from a remote location • Ability to travel 75–90% of the time to U.S. client/project sites • Availability for onsite deployments of up to three continuous weeks and overnight stays of at least one week per deployed week • Ability to operate computers, tablets, web-based programs, and other electronic tools • Ability to work near energized electrical components, at heights, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions
